A device installed on a quay to measure wave height
The Capacitance Type Wave Height and Tide Meter is installed on the quay and can measure the changes in wave height. In accordance with the change of the level of the sea surface, the capacitance of the wire in the wave height detection will change. In this type of wave height meter, wave height is calculated by detecting the change in the capacitance of the wire. Tide level and wave period can be calculated and outputted from the wave signal.
