Tsurumi-Seiki Co.,Ltd. Reaches One Million Units Shipped of XBT and XCTD Probes2025.07.28

Tsurumi-Seiki Co.,Ltd. is pleased to announce that the cumulative production and shipment of XBT (eXpendable Bathy Thermograph) and XCTD (eXpendable Conductivity, Temperature and Depth) probes has reached one million units as of today. Since the start of production in 1960, these instruments have supported oceanographic research for over half a century. Used by research institutions worldwide, our probes continue to play a vital role in measuring seawater temperature and electrical conductivity.
This milestone could not have been achieved without the continued trust and support of our customers and research partners. We extend our sincere appreciation to all those who have contributed to this achievement.
Guided by our company vision:
- “To measure water in every field and provide accurate knowledge and insight”
- “To contribute to a sustainable environment by advancing water quality research through the technology and experience of Tsurumi Seiki”
We remain committed to the development of high-precision, highly reliable ocean observation instruments, and to promoting a deeper understanding of the global environment. We look forward to your continued support as we pursue these goals.
